I'm Abdillah, a software engineer in Jakarta. I like blending technology and creativity: building web apps from the code down to the design details. On the side, I'm going deeper into AI and automation.
Building digital banking apps for business customers.
Going deeper into Java Spring Boot for enterprise systems.
Applying Ruangguru's AI bootcamp: Python and RAG.

So here's the story...
I fell for tech in high school, even though I was on the social studies track. College had to wait for money, so I worked in Batam first. After that, I studied accounting in Pekanbaru. Then the pandemic hit, campus closed, and one line woke me up:
“Don't kill your dreams, because dreams never die. They only faint, and wake again when you are old, in the form of regret.
I went back to learning tech and started taking on web projects. A bootcamp at Hacktiv8 then brought me to Jakarta. Now I build apps for banks and financing companies while continuing to deepen and broaden my understanding. I'm not done learning.
01
Understand the problem first
Technology is just a tool. I start from what users and the business need, then choose the solution.
02
Code for the next team
I write code that is easy to read and maintain, because good software outlives a single sprint.
03
Fulltime learner
From a non-tech start to JavaScript, then Java and a bit of AI. There's still a lot I want to learn.
